This dielectric self-supporting ADSS cable is ideal for overhead aerial installation on existing 33kV/66kV transmission lines. The model SM-AS160-3.6KN-S-24FO is designed for spans up to 160 meters with a tension load capacity of 3.6KN. The 24-core ADSS fiber optic cable features a double jacket design for enhanced anti-tracking performance.

What is ADSS All Dielectric Self Supported Optical Cable?

Aramid Yarn G652D ADSS Communication Fiber Optic Cable adopts a loose-jacketed stranded structure. Single-mode or multimode optical fiber is jacketed into a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-repellent compound. Loose tubes are twisted around the central nonmetallic reinforcement (FRP) to form a compact circular cable core, with gaps filled with water-blocking filler. The cable core is reinforced with aramid fiber and covered with a polyethylene sheath or electric trace-resistant outer sheath.
