Product Description

The GYTC8S optical cable features 250μm optical fiber sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus material, filled with waterproof compound. The cable core centers around a metal reinforced core (or non-metallic alternatives like FRP), with loose tubes (and filler ropes) twisted around it to form a compact circular structure. A layer of plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped around the cable core, with a final polyethylene sheath and steel strand forming the distinctive "8" shape cross-section.
