ADSS is a non-metallic cable which supports its own weight without the use of lashing wires or messenger cables, typically installed in overhead applications along power distributuin or transmission rights-of -way.

 

It can be erected without powering off. AT sheath gives it excellent electric tracking resistance. This type of optical cable has light weight and small cable diametwe, which reducing the influence of wind and ice, on the tower and support load, largest span can be 200 meters. With excellent tensile properties and temperature characteristics, life expectancy is greater than 30 years.
